Job Description

Position Summary:


Reporting directly to the VP of Manufacturing/Plant Manager, this role is integral to ensuring accurate liquid chemical inventory management and processing of production-related costs.


THIS IS A CONTRACT TO HIRE ROLE


Monday thru Friday,  7am to 4pm   You will have your own office in the manufacturing plant


Key Responsibilities:



  2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory transactions, including throughput processing and inventory reconciliation from stills to kettles.
  3. Conduct and document daily kettle gauge reconciliations.
  4. Assist in coordinating monthly inventory closing activities, liaising with other departments as necessary.
  5. Collaborate with team members to conduct various inventory and purchase analyses.
  6. Process work orders for plant operating units, manage pump sheets, flaking, pour logs, and tank wagon shipments, as well as inputting incoming raw material tank wagons and maintaining quality variance reports.
  7. Coordinate weekly uniform rental service delivery by managing hourly employees' orders with the supplier.

Experience & Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in plant accounting preferred.
  • Proficiency in email and ERP systems.
  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.

Skills & Abilities:



  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proficient in Excel, AS400 systems, and database reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and propose solutions to challenges.
  • Team player with the capability to collaborate across various functions.
