Case Compliance Supervisor

In-Office position - Berwyn, Chicago, Illinois
This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of the largest legal line within the law
firm and maintains a focus on assisting victims of abuse. Your primary duties involve
leading and managing tasks and teams, assisting with solutions, helping reduce
workload, and keeping the workplace organized. You will work closely with upper
management to discuss business needs and assist in training and guiding employees in
accordance with company policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures. Implement and communicate these policies to relevant stakeholders within the organization.
Provide training sessions and educational programs to employees on compliance matters. Ensure that staff members are aware of and understand the organization's compliance policies.
Regularly monitor and audit organizational processes to identify and address any potential compliance issues. Conduct internal reviews to assess adherence to policies and regulations.
Investigate reported cases of non-compliance and violations. Collaborate with other departments to gather information and take appropriate corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of compliance activities, investigations, and corrective actions taken. Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies as required.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure that the organization is proactive in addressing potential issues.
Work closely with legal, human resources, and other relevant departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to compliance. Collaborate with external auditors or regulatory agencies as needed.
Communicate changes in laws, regulations, and internal policies to employees. Ensure that all relevant parties are informed and understand the implications for their roles.
Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations. Continuously assess and enhance the effectiveness of the organization's compliance program.
Promote a culture of ethics and compliance within the organization. Encourage employees to report concerns and maintain a confidential and effective reporting mechanism.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bilingual – English and Spanish (read, write, and speak)
Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably law background
At least 3 years of experience as administrative supervisor.
Proven experience setting and reporting KPI's
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products and Google Suite products
Data driven, process-minded, with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communicator with all levels of personnel
Acts with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Immigration legal knowledge or other legal knowledge preferred
Excellent Organizational Skills

Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and projects
