Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:
Ensure quality food and service
Food ordering and controlling food costs
Staff scheduling and controlling labor costs
Ability to multitask and get things done as efficiently as possible
Hold staff and be self-accountable to all safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to develop a strong staff by continuously training and coaching both line level staff and sous chefs
Be able to support staff and other management in all areas of the hotel including banquets, restaurants, and bars.
Chef de Cuisine Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a fine-dining or upscale-casual scratch kitchen in a similar position
Experience in multi-unit management preferred
High-volume experience- $3 million-plus
Understands quality and helps uphold standards at all times
Culinary degree or relevant experience required
