We currently have an opening for a Business Development Manager, Power Quality, come grow with us This position is located near major airport in the US.

Reporting to the Director, Technical Solutions Group, this role is responsible for:
• To champion the sales of HPS power quality electrical equipment through all go-to-market channels. Utilize awareness of Distribution, Large OEM and Private Label channels to ensure success.
• Utilize knowledge of industrial/commercial power systems and nonlinear power conversion to promote HPS solutions to improve power quality. Establish HPS as a market leader in power quality solutions.
• Support collaboration with other HPS and Mesta teams including Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Product Management, to ensure HPS power quality/conversion solutions succeed in the market.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop, execute, and oversee plans that prioritize growth of PQ Solutions revenue, in collaboration with HPS Sales, Marketing and Product Management
Develop & deliver product capability presentations to consultants, contractors and large-end users while developing strategic relationships.
Provide targeted PQ conversion support within HPS distribution partners.
Manage PQ-related support of selected OEM and Private Label accounts.
Promote PQ offerings at industry events and via though leadership activities (via application notes, industry presentations, etc.).
Provide PQ related support along with Sales, Marketing, and Field Service with existing and new products
Help identify market needs by conducting high level industry research and proposing novel solutions to address them (working with Product Management and Engineering).
Assist customers, along with Application Engineering and Sales, in determining the proper application of equipment.
Assist customers or field service personnel in assessing and rectifying issues related to PQ solutions (with support from Engineering).
Provide enhanced PQ training for HPS sales and partners
Partner with the PQ Business Unit to develop and deliver effective training, adopting a consultative selling approach.
Conduct training sessions such as webinars and seminars to educate potential customers on the significance of power quality and the advantages of specific solutions.
Support customer and partner training initiatives using the HPS Power Quality Lab.
Promote PQ solutions at industry events and through thought leadership activities, including application notes and presentations.

Do you qualify? We are seeking:

College or university degree preferred, or a diploma in Engineering or Technology.
Previous experience in the Electrical Industry is desired
Strong skills in time management and priority setting.
Ability for analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Proficiency in information gathering and processing.
Team player with excellent adaptability.
Effective collaborator with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, analytic tools, BI Cube, and possess sound product management fundamentals.
