SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The ideal candidate will have an education and background in finance or real estate, preferably directly related to the homebuilding industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Land Financial Reporting – Supporting monthly and quarterly land finance reporting exercise with the Divisions
  • Mergers and Acquisitions – Assisting in due diligence and financial underwriting, including researching and compiling data on sales comparisons, demographics, and product competition.
  • Process and Procedures – Assisting in the improvement of existing land approval and reporting processes, and implementation of new processes.
  • Land Analysis – Assisting in underwriting new land acquisition and home building opportunities
  • Market Analysis – Assisting in market analysis of current and new markets


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Finance and Real Estate are preferred)
  • Accounting knowledge and experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Particularly Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teammates


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The work environment is representative of an office/field setting
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate
