What You'll Do:
- Play a key role as a Scrum/Agile team member in the design, development, deployment, and support of our Sitecore web solutions
- Deliver high-quality, well-tested code that meets stated requirements and reflects coding best practices
- Complete assigned sprint tasks efficiently and assist fellow team members as needed to achieve the team's sprint and delivery goals
- Be an active, vocal participant in Scrum/Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, sprint review, sprint retrospective, backlog grooming
- Design solutions for feature-level requirements. Break down work into user stories and tasks
- Perform code reviews to ensure standards and best practices are adhered to
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for achieving team delivery goals
- Recommend and drive team process improvements
- Be a great teammate Always demonstrating team-oriented behaviors: respectful, accountable, reliable, helpful, good communicator, open-minded
What You'll Need
Required Technical Qualifications:
- Must have 5+ years' experience with Sitecore CMS development
- 5+ years' experience developing web applications with .NET Framework and .NET Core using C#, MVC, Web API, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL
- Proficiency with JavaScript
- Experience developing and integrating REST web services
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
- Experience writing unit tests
- Experience with code version control systems (such as Git, SVN, TFVC) and branching strategies
- Understanding of software development patterns and coding best practices
- Experience delivering software projects as part of a Scrum/Agile team
- Ability to lead and coach team members through technical implementations
Preferred Technical Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience with React JavaScript library
- 2+ years' experience developing with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Experience using Git-based source code management, and Gitflow or similar branching model
- Experience creating CI/CD build and deploy pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps
- Experience with agile software project tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jira
- Understanding of data privacy and security principles and how they apply to insurance digital systems and solutions
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus
