AI Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Software Engineer to join our team at OneStream Software. As an AI Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in executing our Large Language Model (LLM) initiative, which aims to enhance user experiences in data analysis and decision-making through advanced AI Assistants within the OneStream platform.
The AI Product and Engineering team is focused on bridging the gap between AI research and AI products, bringing tangible and quantifiable value to our end users. Our AI solutions incorporate applications across the AI and machine learning spectrum, including time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language processing.
As an AI Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications and services using various software architecture design patterns. You will also implement Large Language Model assistants and agents, focusing on retrieval augmented generation (RAG), planning, using actions and tools, prompt engineering, and eventually finetuning.
Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, from the user interface to the database layer to ensure the reliability of releases.
- Participate and lead technical design sessions to decompose and design complex systems and interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical and user requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or similar work experience.
- CS/DS/EE/CE Degree or similar experience.
- 1-3 years of experience building and deploying production-level machine learning solutions or similar experience.
- 1-3 years of strong programming experience with one of the following: Python, C++, C, CSharp, Java, Rust, or Go (or similar experience).
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience with non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-based computing (Azure).
