Yard Worker FULL-TIME

A Rasmussen Equipment Company Yard Worker is a key employee responsible for preparing high quality equipment for delivery to our customers and maintaining an organized equipment yard. This individual takes pride in their work, values working as a team to achieve common goals, has high integrity, and works safely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Always properly use the appropriate PPE for intended use and application.
• Operates forklift equipment.
• Routinely and effectively communicate progress, updates, and issues to the Foreman
• Paint marine equipment using sprayer or rollers.
• Clean, inspect and repair marine equipment/rental equipment.
• Operates motorized equipment including power tools, saws, hammers and impact drivers
• Prepare and stage equipment to be loaded on trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized equipment yard.
• Load and unload items and equipment on trucks.
• Operates pressure washer and maintains washpad and related equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; walk and stand on gravel roads; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; balance; bend and reach with hands and arms; use feet to operate foot pedal operation; talk and hear. Occasionally required to climb ladders, sit, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
