In partnership with an industry leader in electromechanical, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain solutions is looking to add to their Quality Assurance – Inspection team in the Richardson market. This amazing opportunity will allow you to not only get your foot in the door at a great company, but also allow you to utilize and grow your skill set in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Pay Rate: $25 per hour

  • Contract length: Through end of 2024 minimally – opportunity to be hired on for the right candidate

  • Shift: Weekends on 1st shift working 7p-7:30a (Fri-Sun)

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for providing quality support to ensure the material review for purchased or consigned parts meet quality standards. You may also provide quality support for in-process inspection of products by inspecting parts and components or production assemblies by electrical, visual and/or mechanical examination to ensure conformance to specifications.

Additional Quality Assurance - Inspector job responsibilities include:

  • Inspection process for raw materials and products linked to a bill of materials used in the manufacturing process.

  • Validate the information, drawings and inspection plants a ETQ, Qspec, SAP, customer drawings, Agile, etc.

  • Use equipment such as microscopes, optical comparators, pin gauges, coordinate measuring machine, surface plate and various hand tools to verify parts meet dimensional specs and tolerances

  • Support First Article Assessment activities and approvals

Qualified candidates should have:

  • High School education or equivalent.

  • Electronics and mechanical vocational training desirable.

  • 2+ year experience in a quality or technical related position

  • Demonstrated ability to make inspection decisions through the use of blueprints, inspection procedures and process sheets.

  • Working knowledge of measurement tools and inspection equipment required to test electrical components.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
