Solugenix is assisting a client in their search for a Desktop Support Specialist. This is a 3-month contract to hire opportunity based in Denver, CO (Onsite).

The consultant works on assignments of diverse scope where analysis of data and hardware requires evaluation of identifiable factors. The consultant exercises judgment with supervision within the generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and acts as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution.

Qualifications

  • Requires 3+ years of related work experience.
  • ServiceNow or other ticketing experience.
  • Basic knowledge of networking.
  • Sound knowledge of imaging tools (Ghost, MDT, SCCM).
  • Sound knowledge of data backup and recovery tools (USMT).
  • Installing, upgrading, reimaging, and repair of equipment.
  • Deploying Windows 7/10 in large enterprises.
  • Configuring hardware and applications.
  • Configuring mobile computing and repair.
  • Light asset inventory of IT items.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support IT Asset Management team for processing IT assets based on established methods.
  • Provide accurate IT inventory services.
  • Perform reactive troubleshooting to effectively identify potential incidents or problems and attempt to eliminate them to occur in the future.
  • Receives daily shipments of inventory of PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and monitors (unwrap, move to storage, document).
  • Provide repair and maintenance for mobile devices.
  • Install, upgrade, reimage, and repair equipment (desktops, laptops, monitors, and associated peripherals).
  • Provide software break/fix services and replacement of non-warranty assets for end users.
  • Reimage using Intune.
  • Provide warranty and break/fix support for networked printers and scanners.
  • Configure and support end users on mobile computing platforms.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $26/hour to $26/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
