We put our people first, allowing you to choose where you work from home, in the office, or both.Job DescriptionThe SEO Specialist is responsible for the Search Engine Optimisation of Partner University websites to deliver high-converting student inquiries. This includes identifying and executing both the on and off-page strategy, traffic/inquiry forecasting, budget management, and performance analysis of the website.The successful candidate will be based in Malaysia and will be part of our Australian business directly working on Australian university partner accounts.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Working closely with the Marketing Manager to define and execute SEO strategy for University Partner websites, continually identifying new opportunities to grow organic website traffic, managing SEO budget, and forecast monthly traffic and inquiry volumesAdvise and implement all on-site and technical optimisations to include meta tags, content optimisation, site architecture, schema, sitemaps, load speeds, and URL pathsWorking closely with the Content Team to steer content strategy and production and leverage social media channels in driving traffic and social signalsIdentify and contact websites that provide backlinking opportunities as well as manage content amplification channelsPerform regular research and analysis, including keyword research, audience insights, technical audits, content reviews, on-site analysis, and backlink audits. Ensuring the website is fully tracked via Google AnalyticsProject manage website improvements and problem solve issues, providing recommendations to improve CRO, UX, and customer journeyManage third parties that support SEO initiativesDemonstrate at all times the Keypath values; Be committedBe collaborativeBe inventiveBe a lifelong learnerQualificationsWhat were looking for:Tertiary qualification in related field or higherDemonstrated experience in a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) role, proven ability to forecast and project traffic volumeInterpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate technical issues in a concise and understandable mannerProactive in acquiring and learning new skills in the evolving SEO fieldExperience in Higher Education or highly regulated industry is desirableThis role involves close collaboration with our colleagues, university partners and managers based in Australia.
