Job DescriptionWomens Wellness Connection (WWC) Program BillerAs a grantee of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Salud is able to offer the Womens Wellness Connection (WWC) Program to eligible patients for cancer prevention and early detection. The WWC Part-Time Biller functions as a member of the Womens Wellness Connection Program, approaches his/her tasks in a team-based fashion, and provides support to the WWC billing component of the WWC Program.We offer:Starting Wage - $17.92 to $20.61 per hourPart-TimeMonday to Friday 8 am to Noon, or 9 am to 1 pm4 hours max per day - 20 hrs per weekOur Mission is to provide a quality, integrated healthcare home to the communities we serveSpecific Duties:Receives and organizes invoices and UB 1500 Forms from sub-contractors (9 facilities, 3 radiology groups and 3 pathology groups)Inputs all data from invoices and UB 1500 Forms into ExcelVerifies patient was eligible for WWC Program in Saluds electronic medical record (EMR)Confirm WWC vouchers issued to the level of service(s) approvedVerifies the receipt of the appropriate Diagnostic Imaging result in Saluds EMR according to the CPT Code on the invoice and UB 1500 FormCross references all facility invoices with radiology and pathology group invoicesVerifies payments received from the CDPHE database for appropriate CPT Code invoicedCompletes adjudication of invoices/claims to their entiretySubmits all completed WWC billing invoices for each subcontractor to Saluds accounting department for payments to the subcontractorResearch and contacts subcontractors who sent patients a bill that were eligible for WWC Program servicesWorks in conjunction with WWC Patient Navigators, Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, Enrollment Specialists, Customer Service Associates, and all other staff to ensure that patients obtain the highest standard of integrated healthcareActs as a patient advocate for our vulnerable populations by ensuring that patients are fully informed and comfortable with their visit to SaludPerforms random audits of certain CPT Codes from the direction of the supervisorAdheres to all standards, protocols, and laws surrounding patient confidentialityFollows procedures for the electronic health records systemPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or GED, requiredExperience:Two years of billing and/or coding in health care and an intermediate skill set for Excel is requiredLicensure:NoneQualifications for Appointment:Billing and Coding background required (certification not required)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Able to relate well to co-workers and WWC approved sub-contractor facilities and billing entitiesMust be self-motivated, pro-active, and independent workerPossess excellent organizational skillsDetailed orientedMust work well with the WWC team membersMust work well with the patient care teamFluency in English requiredThe application window is anticipated to close by 7/31/24Additional InformationSalud Family Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
