We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Field Service Engineer. This role is an excellent opportunity to apply your engineering skills in a practical setting, offering a unique blend of technical problem-solving, customer service, and fieldwork. You will be working with advanced technologies, troubleshooting complex systems, and providing on-site support to our clients. This role will bring you right to the heart of our operations, giving you the chance to make a real impact on our company and our customers.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Providing on-site technical support to our clients, including troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery and systems.
  2. Performing routine maintenance and inspections on equipment, identifying potential issues, and taking preventative action to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Utilizing your knowledge of wiring and PLC to install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  4. Developing and implementing solutions for technical problems, utilizing your troubleshooting skills to ensure minimal disruption to our clients' operations.
  5. Providing exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and concerns, and providing clear, concise, and accurate information.
  6. Writing detailed service reports, documenting all work performed, and providing recommendations for future service needs.
  7. Collaborating with the engineering team to share knowledge, improve processes, and contribute to the ongoing development of our service offerings.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Field Service Engineer, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
  2. Proven experience with wiring, PLC, troubleshooting, and field service.
  3. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  4. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and develop innovative solutions to technical problems.
  5. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and build strong relationships.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Ability to work independently, managing your own time and workload effectively.
  8. Willingness to travel as required, providing on-site support to clients across various locations.
  9. A valid driver's license.
  10. A commitment to continuous learning and development, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
