We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of the reusable energy movement.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Operate and control heavy equipment used in solar operations, such as telehandlers, skid steers, etc.
Perform general maintenance on heavy equipment, trailers, etc., including greasing, fluid checks/fills, fueling, and conducting regular inspections for wear and tear
Review job site to determine requirements and address potential challenges
Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth and safe operations
and provide training if needed on safe equipment operation
Provide assistance to the installation crew during periods of low operator-specific tasks
Ability to use hand and power tools
Maintain equipment
Keep a clean and safe worksite
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Previous experience loading and unloading equipment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Works well with others
Attention to detail
Valid drivers license required.
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to travel to remote jobs with durations of 2 weeks or more
Education and Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years related operating experience
Valid drivers license (required)
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Previous construction experience (preferred)
Hoisting or operating certificate (preferred)
OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
Solar Installation experience is not required - we will train the right person
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds throughout assigned workday
Ability to work in extreme outdoor conditions (example: hot sun, wind, cold, rain, snow)
Must be comfortable with heights and be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
