Job Overview

Lucas Tree Experts is seeking a skilled Ground Operations Technician to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for manual removal of vegetation from work areas, safely operating various forestry equipment, and performing line clearance, pruning, and removals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forestry equipment, including woodchippers, hydraulic equipment, and chainsaws
  • Perform manual removal of vegetation from work areas
  • Conduct line clearance, pruning, and removals
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Meet physical demands of the position, including walking on uneven ground and carrying 75 lbs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Ability to work 45 hours weekly
  • Ability to work at varying heights
  • Ability to obtain a CDL A or B license (paid for by Lucas Tree Experts)
