The Senior Accountant plays a significant role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GAAP and a proactive approach to process improvement.

About Center of Excellence:

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal, and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allow the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.

Your Impact:

  1. Own banking operations including managing all cash accounts.
  2. Manage long-term debt schedules, including related discount and interest.
  3. Manage and reconcile corporate credit cards.
  4. Administration of travel expense reimbursement policy.
  5. Serve as contact for audit and tax, provide requested PBC’s.
  6. Development and documentation of key processes and controls.
  7. Preparation of narratives and financial statement footnotes.
  8. Preparation of monthly financial decks.
  9. Preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow reporting.
  10. Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  11. Complete monthly closing activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and properly recording transactions.
  12. Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger to ensure that financial statements are GAAP compliant.

What You Bring:

  1. Accounting or Finance degree required, CPA (or candidate) preferred.
  2. 4-6 years progressive accounting experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  4. Experience with NetSuite a plus.
  5. Experience managing treasury operations.
  6. Experience with international transactions, including foreign exchange transactions and intercompany reconciliations.
  7. Excellent communication skills across different levels of management and cultures.
  8. Experience working in a SaaS company or a technology-driven environment is highly desirable.
  9. Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize, and self-direct in a remote workplace.
  10. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Geographic Responsibility: Occasional travel to Burlington/Boston, MA.

Type of Employment: Full-time, permanent.
