Duties for an Estimator include:

  1. Estimating
  2. Quantity take-offs
  3. Preparing and managing bid packages
  4. Subcontractor/bid procurement
  5. Managing RFI during bid period
  6. Cost control
  7. Scheduling
  8. Subcontractor relations
  9. P&L
  10. Maintaining and delivering a high level of quality and competitive bid analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Architecture
  • 11-15 years experience is required.
  • Estimating experience is required.
  • Self Perform experience is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Including Excel and Project)
  • Proficient in On-Screen Takeoff (Or Similar)
  • Ability to manage people
  • Ability to work in a team
