The Director of Sales, Appliance Accessories Division will drive expansion and spearhead growth initiatives for Certified Appliance Accessories brand. This leader leverages existing relationships with buying groups, independent regional appliance dealers, national installation channels, and key industry stakeholders while forging new partnerships to drive growth and value for the brand.

DUTIES

  • Lead and execute a strategic growth plan to expand the market presence of our Certified Appliance Accessories brand along with a family of complimentary tier one brands.
  • Drive growth and development of existing relationships with buying groups, independent regional appliance dealers, national installation channels, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Develop new sales relationships for Petra leveraging networking and partnerships with retailers and national installation channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and International Product Development to ensure that customer needs are exceeded.
  • Manage a dynamic P&L, build forecasts, and sales targets for the Certified Appliance Accessories brand along with tier one brands.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of inside sales representatives to drive performance and exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain superior customer service reputation with customers, coworkers, team leaders and management. This includes quick and decisive action to requests, ability changes and alternatives in procedures, processes and functions.
  • Remains familiar and compliant with all company policies and procedures in the performance of job duties and regarding individual activities and behaviors.
  • Maintains acceptable attendance in accordance with company policies and departmental standards.
  • Conducts self in a professional, courteous, respectful and friendly manner at all times when interacting with coworkers, clients or vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in the field with proven sales growth.
  • Must be passionate about the appliance accessory space with strong existing relationships with decision makers.

  • Superior communication skills with high ethics and strong moral character.
  • Outgoing personality with ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Sharp attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects efficiently and effectively.

Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
