Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading foundry equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of safety in a manufacturing environment, strong skills in one or more of: electronics, electrical, electro-mechanical, PLC’s, and the ability to diagnose and solve problems encountered during troubleshooting.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Norwich, Kansas
Pay Range: $25-$28 per hour (no higher than $30)
What's the Job?
- Perform preventative and reactionary maintenance on foundry equipment
- Diagnose and solve problems and issues encountered during troubleshooting
- Empowered to make decisions and requirements and needs within maintenance
- Operation of forklifts and other mobile equipment
- Facility maintenance
What's Needed?
- Basic understanding of safety in a manufacturing environment
- Strong skills in one or more of: electronics, electrical, electro-mechanical, PLC’s
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and drawings
- Ability to climb ladders and/or stairways
- Manufacturing background preferred
