About the Team

You will be part of the Pottery Barn Product Development team at Pottery Barn, located at our brand headquarters in San Francisco, CA, working hand-in-hand with the Design, Technical Design, Merchants, and Sourcing team members.

Overview of the Role

The Design Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Design Team by coordinating the movement of samples and helping to facilitate meetings and showroom presentations. The role requires a can-do attitude and is a key player in facilitating and maintaining cross-functional operational processes.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage/track/request all samples between factories, warehouse, and showrooms.
  2. Maintain updated Sample Request Reports. Ensure all samples are on track to arrive for milestone meetings and deadlines.
  3. Help support weekly Product Development meetings by ensuring all samples are set up for review in a timely manner.
  4. Proactively maintain organized sample spaces by keeping products stored in a manner that fosters a safe environment to conduct business.
  5. Assist the Merchant and Sourcing teams with their sample-related needs and photo sample check-out list.
  6. Archive all development samples. Maintain accurate Archive lists.
  7. Operate a computer and communicate via telephone/text.
  8. Transport materials and lift, move, and carry lighting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Criteria

  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Independent and assertive, with strong organizational skills.
  4. Attention to detail.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, often-changing environment.
  6. This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office 5 days per week.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $25.00-$28.00 per hour. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets.
