Lead a team of sales individual contributors dedicated to a geographic territory to grow business and maintain current accounts across the assigned region. Empower and motivate the team to achieve required financial, operational, and people development objectives. Job Description
  • Leads, Inspires, Manages, and Coaches High-Performing Sales Team – Leverages consultative sales approach to drive growth; recruits, develops, motivates, and retains team of highly-skilled, results-oriented Territory Business managers/Territory Account managers; manages wide and deep sales pipeline; uses analytical skills to proactively find ways to increase team productivity; coaches team to make appropriate field and pricing decisions; provides price input and approvals; performance manages team as needed; manages compensation; works closely with Sales Operations, Training, Lead Generation, and Demand Generation teams to keep sales teams current on development needs and regularly exceeding customer expectations.
  • Demonstrates Market and Solution Knowledge – Understands and clearly articulates full suite of Sealed Air Solutions, products, campaigns, and programs to leaders, teams, and key customers; understands sector/industry needs and economic drivers and provides key strategic customer feedback and insights back to support partners to strengthen solution suite in the marketplace. Promote penetration of innovations to differentiate Sealed Air as a leader by adding value to our customers' business and market sectors.
  • Drives Profitability Improvement – Works closely with the marketing team, Portfolio Managers, and other support partners to regularly review and improve regional account profitability and growth strategies to deliver top-line revenue and profitable growth for the company; ability to make and influence critical decisions at the local and regional level.
  • Leads Sales Planning and Growth – Guides Territory Business Managers to create sales, profitability, and growth plans for their assigned territories which will identify how to drive profitable growth with existing and potential customers; utilizes sales data, market analysis, resources, and tools to identify greatest opportunities; holds teams accountable to meeting and exceeding growth plans.
  • Manages Administrative Duties – Ensures team leverages all tools to the fullest extent and completes key administrative tasks such as pricing, CRM reporting, rebate and promotion coordination, customer relationship and activity reporting, budgeting, travel, and expenses.
  • Participates in Corporate Programs – Actively executes corporate programs and campaigns, complies with professional quality standards, complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with Sealed Air’s values and ethical standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably leading sales teams in a large organization
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas in an easy-to-understand way

  • Extensive experience in leading and coaching sales teams and closing business
  • Experience with distribution model sales and direct-to-customer sales
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intellectually curious, analytical, strong attention to detail, self-motivated
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
