Thompson Pipe Group, Pressure Division, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial manufacturing supervisor to join our dedicated team, contributing their expertise to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing operations. This is a fast-paced environment where teamwork and commitment to excellence are paramount. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide supervision and direction to all team members to ensure production targets.
- Assigns work to department personnel to attain department objectives using knowledge of production processes, company policies, production schedules, work orders, equipment capacity and employee capabilities.
- Read and understand project drawings and specifications.
- Ensure 100% product document traceability is kept up to date.
- Provides training, support, direction, and guidance to department personnel to continually develop their work habits, job skills and safety practices.
- Evaluates employee performance and accountability
- Recommends and initiates improvements to production processes, to increase manufacturing efficiency.
- Set department goals and develop outline for achievement.
- May be exposed to excessive noise, welding gases and fumes, and varying weather conditions.
- To work overtime as required based on company needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Five years production supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is a MUST.
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving and strong prioritization skills.
- Meet schedule deadlines in a dynamic and sometimes demanding work environment.
- Team player with a high level of dedication.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment required
- Knowledge of concrete application methods, both manual and mechanical.
- Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment and effective time management in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment required
- Ability to understand and apply workplace safety procedures
- Monday-Friday (Mandatory OT Saturdays based on business needs)
