JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will provide guidance on securing applications and infrastructure. The engineer provides security as a process alongside the agile teams building and maintaining client products. The engineer is accountable for establishing and maintaining cyber risk identification, prevention, and remediation practices throughout the product lifecycle. The role holder will be part of the security team that safeguards the infrastructure and information across the company worldwide. This role involves design, implementation, monitoring, maintenance and configuration of key security services that will enable the business to meet its strategic goals and initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement and maintain secure, resilient enterprise-grade processes for one or more software and systems in tandem with architects and system engineers.

• Actively monitor, assess, and recommend tactical and strategic initiatives based on new and emerging threats posing risk to our products.

• Work with development teams throughout the SDLC to implement monitoring and security solutions within embedded product software and supporting applications

• Perform or support security testing such as penetration tests, fuzz testing and internal/external audits. Coordinate remediation efforts as needed.

• Optimize system security design build out by creating and reviewing architecture and detailed design solutions that reflect best practices.

• Support breach and incident response activities for product and supporting applications

• Implement technical security solutions to support both host based and containerized architectures

• Support physical device security by determining and implementing secure product practices.

• Configures tools and/or creates processes and scripts to automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed security infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity or IT management system experience with a strong preference for product security experience (consumer-facing apps and services)

• Holds or working toward multiple cybersecurity certifications including: CCSP, CISSP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or additional AWS advanced certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.

• Self-motivated, well-organized and able to position controls in anticipation of threats.

• Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS) and techniques.

• Strong understanding of encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
