Description
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in the natural food ingredients sector.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and approach potential clients, including food manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing.
- Stay informed about the latest developments, innovations, and regulatory changes in natural food ingredients.
- Provide clients with expert advice on product applications, benefits, and differentiation.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on business goals and client needs.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Track sales metrics and prepare regular reports on performance, market trends, and client feedback.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, both virtually and in person.
- Build a strong professional network to enhance business development opportunities.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the natural food ingredients industry or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and competitive landscape in the natural food sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management software).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
