Hours for this position: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday 6am – 6pm
After-Hours Customer Service Representative responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customer support and service
Operate as a coordinator and tracker of orders being loaded and shipped outside of normal business hours
Limited customer contact but will be responsible for phone activity during working hours
Position requires excellent communication skills with multiple departments within the company, including loading dock, transportation/logistics and customer receiving departments
Serve as an information provider and general problem solver on all orders and provide service to customers
Efficient communication with other Customer Service Representatives on problems or potential problems needed to effectively do this job
Other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates for the After-Hours Customer Service Representative position should possess the following:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in stressful circumstances
- Reasoning and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Must be driven and goal oriented
- Self-Disciplined
- Must be resourceful
Must Have:
- Minimum High School Education or Equivalent
- General office skills
- Professional Appearance
- Positive Attitude
- Good Work Ethic
Nice to Have:
- 2+ Years customer service experience
- Previous experience with heavy phone work
- Computer experience (i.e. word, excel)
- English/Spanish bilingual communication skills
