Curriculum Software Sales

As a key member of the Education Sales Team, your primary responsibility will be to prospect, qualify, and close new software sales opportunities. This role involves engaging with potential clients through email, phone, virtual, and in-person meetings.

Our client is a growing family owned business who are making a difference in the education space. Their major clientel is within K-12, and will connect you with some of the best educatiors in the region.
Description
- Introduce cutting-edge curriculum software to current and potential school district clients.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, sales campaigns, marketing efforts, and client support.
- Conduct client site visits, provide quotes, and follow up to ensure successful conversions.
- Prospect, build, and manage a pipeline of opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Present and propose solutions to executive-level decision-makers.
- Maintain regular contact with accounts, promoting new and existing products, preparing RFPs, and closing deals.
- Grow and expand relationships within assigned accounts.
- Provide daily client support and manage qualified sales opportunities.
- Respond promptly to product inquiries and qualify leads.
- Build relationships with software vendors, attend product trainings, and support internal teams in understanding the product portfolio.
- Take on client training and onboarding for these solutions within 6-12 months.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business, education, marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in education or sales, preferably within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
- Experience working closely with educators and curriculum coordinators.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset, with a strong drive to meet individual goals.
- Confident presenting to both small groups and large audiences, with knowledge of hardware and software used in K-12 education.
- Proven ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Strong time-management, record-keeping, and planning skills.
- Preferred: Experience with SMART products and other A/V technologies.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
