Position Description:  

As an integral part of the RIA operations team, carry out duties including but not limited to new business set-up, account monitoring, and processing of client accounts. This position will monitor existing accounts for updates and perform other requests while fulfilling both regulatory and internal process obligations. This role will work with both internal and external customers on managed accounts transactions while meeting deadlines and adhering to applicable laws, rules, and regulations.  Perform higher level processing functions and special projects as assigned.

 

While not required to secure or work in the position, this role would offer the opportunity to pursue FINRA licenses which could help with growth into other potential future roles in the organization. 

 

Position Location:

This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home. 

 

What you do:

  • Set up new accounts, resolve issues with both internal and external partners, streamline operational procedures to the field, answer customer questions, and ensure proper training on processes/procedures.
  • Ensure account maintenance is compliant with terms of program agreements.
  • Reconcile account related data through the operation of back-office systems, including client information, reports, and other data.
  • Adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures in relation to position including but not limited to accurate capture & portrayal of client information, meeting deadlines, and account processing.
  • Conduct all scheduled audits, certifications, reconciliations, and distribution of information as required including but not limited to data downloads, reports, invoices, and vendor statements.
  • Monitor incoming calls and emails; process account maintenance; verify, and manually research as required, client identity; process client requests and follow-up with outside vendors as required.
  • Collaborate with internal partners on Not in Good Order (NIGO) paperwork to resolve; follow up as require solving NIGO workflows; manage requests for external partners to ensure IGO processing.

What you bring: 

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required. 
  • Associate degree in a relevant field of study preferred but not required.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience required.  Relevant experience could include a mixture of experiences with customer service and/or financial services industry experience.
