Job Summary
Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center has been an essential part of San Francisco's health care system since 1872. Since 1873, UCSF has been a partner in public health with ZSFG. UCSF/ZSFG is committed to the values of professionalism, respect, integrity, diversity and excellence. UCSF/ZSFG Trauma Recovery Center (TRC)/Rape Treatment Center (RTC) is an award-winning program that is the first of its kind in California. It is a coordinated effort between the UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (DPBS) and the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH). It is designed to help victims of violent crime overcome barriers to accessing mental health treatment, health care, and legal resources in the acute aftermath of trauma. Populations served include acute survivors of sexual assault, recent victims of violent crime, asylum-seeking and refugee survivors of torture and gender-based persecution in their countries of origin, and those who incur traumatic brain injury.
The Practice Coordinator 2 is primarily responsible for representing the administrative team as the first line of contact to the Trauma Recovery Center. Under the general supervision of the TRC Office Manager, who reports to the Division Administrator and Division Director, the PC 2 will serve as the primary contact person and is responsible for coordinating a total of approximately 20-25 staff and faculty, residents, medical students and interns. This position works closely with the administrative, clinical, and management team to support center operations. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) managing day to day office procedures such as providing reliable and consistent front desk coverage. The PC 2 will undertake a variety of administrative tasks that include providing clinic support, program support, and liaison support. This position will embody our trauma-informed and culturally humble approach to patient care and collaboration, and will exemplify UCSF's commitment to the values of professionalism, respect, integrity, diversity and excellence.
The PC 2 makes a difference for clients in an outpatient care unit by providing excellent trauma-informed and excellent customer service, facilitating and ensuring the accuracy of the information flow between the clinical team and the leadership team to maximize unit efficiency.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $29.68 - $42.48 (Hourly Rate).
