PSI Engineering is an industrial equipment distributor for pumps, filters, mechanical seals and valves. Our industry knowledge, product offering, service and repair capabilities, along with our skid manufacturing allows us to tackle any job big or small. Our service center offers repairs in your facility or in our state-of-the-art equipment repair facility. Our factory trained Service Technicians offer the latest repair solutions on over 30 different lines of pumps, blowers, filters and fluid handling products. Overview: Seeking a sales engineer who calls on decision-makers in the marketplace, specifically Industrial, Municipal, Oil & Gas, Power, and Chemical, who are in a position to specify or purchase PSI Engineering products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Calls on decision-makers in the marketplace, specifically Industrial, Municipal, Oil & Gas, Power, and Chemical, who are in a position to specify or purchase PSI Engineering products and services.
- Achieve sales and margin levels that meet or exceed annual goals for all Furey Filter and Pump equipment offerings.
- Achieve sales and margin levels that meet or exceed annual goals for all PSI Engineering equipment offerings.
- Spend 75% of time making sales calls in territory developing new buying accounts and building loyalty through 100% customer satisfaction from existing accounts.
- Coordinate with Regional resources to design and offer customer-centric system solutions across multiple product categories.
- Maintain disciplined daily/weekly activity goals per the defined OTC standard of consistency and conduct of a Sales Engineer
- Budget and maintain market share targets in conjunction with regional objectives.
- Target competitive accounts to grow customer base and penetrate territory.
- Master technical sales and territory management skills; product knowledge, system design, and a superior understanding and execution of proper prospecting and sales processes.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred, Mechanical Engineering degree a plus, alongside a minimum of two years of experience in filter and pump industrial sales, or a comprehensive six years of sales experience in the industrial technology sector.
- Ability to sell pump equipment, understanding of the mechanics and applications of an industrial pump and pumping systems, self-starter.
- Proactive prospecting with a dedication to fieldwork.
- Professional service sales background with a demonstrated record of success
- Strategic thinker with a vision for territorial growth.
- Skilled in presentations and communication across platforms.
