Job Summary
Responsible for working with our Club or Distribution Center leaders to gain a deep understanding of our day-to-day operations. Establishes efficiencies, maintains policies and procedures within Club or Distribution Center.  In this role you will report to a Director, Regional Operations and be assigned a Club Manager as a mentor. This role is a key pipeline opportunity on the path to a retail leadership role with us. 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborates with other leaders to develop talent by coaching, teaching, and developing Team Members, assess Team Member performance and provide actionable feedback.
  • Evaluates departmental performance using company reporting programs and provides recommendations to maximize sales, profits, and performance.
  • Evaluates and ensures operational processes are consistently followed in the highly controlled areas of receiving, asset control, human resources, and cash office.
  • Establishes operational efficiencies and productivity standards within the department and reviews budgets, plans and P&L to identify profit opportunities.

  • Able to work 100% in person at designated location.
  • Focused on post-grad career in retail management or supply chain/logistics.
  • Can-do attitude with a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and learn.
  • Able to work cross functionally with different leaders/team members across various departments to drive towards results.
  • Agile and eager to work with diverse stakeholders and tasks.
  • Strong business acumen with desire to work in an active, boots-on-the-ground environment where no day is the same.
  • People-focused, with positive leadership skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Email) required.

Job Conditions

  • Most of the time is spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces. There may be a need to occasionally position oneself to examine or scan merchandise, including bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and/or stooping.
  • Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects in excess of 30 pounds with assistance.
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area with frequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises. There may be occasional exposure to cleaning agents.
