Are you a Culinarian who strives to create exceptional culinary experiences?

This is a hands-on Executive Chef position serving one of our long-time banking institutions in downtown San Francisco . The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing the culinary operation of the bank’s dining café and its robust catering operation. This role will lead a Sous Chef, Operations Manager, and 10 frontline employees. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who enjoys developing their teams and has a passion for food, catering, and people. The typical schedule is M-F.

We are looking for a Chef who:

  • Creative problem-solver who brings passion, excitement, and new ideas
  • Constantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a whole
  • Recognizing and reacting to contemporary trends
  • Corporate Dining Experience
  • Play a key role and enthusiastically mentor culinary personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the culinary management team to manage all aspects of food preparation, product handling, equipment utilization, and food safety.
  • Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting;
  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality, are implemented;
  • Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance and management systems.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
