Location: Catonsville, MD (Fully Onsite)

Duration: ASAP - January 31st, 2025

Pay: $23-$26/hour


Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Assistant to support our Benefits and Leave department in a fully onsite, contract role through January 31st, 2025. In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in handling administrative tasks and providing support to employees, mainly focusing on answering calls, distributing paperwork, and performing various clerical duties. This role requires strong organizational skills and a professional, approachable demeanor.


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming calls related to benefits, leave, and general HR inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Prepare, send, and track benefits and leave paperwork to employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of leave requests, benefits documents, and other HR-related paperwork.
  • Provide administrative support to the Benefits and Leave department, including data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Coordinate with HR team members to ensure employee inquiries are resolved promptly.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed to support the HR department.


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.


Additional Information
