The Innovation and Claims Strategist role is focused on leading efforts to showcase and communicate product innovation to retailers and consumers to meet the targeted Baby and Child Care business objectives. 
**In this role you will:**

* Present product innovation at retail customer meetings. 

* Partner with cross-functional innovation team members to develop and substantiate product claims.

* From an R&E perspective, lead claim workshops and sprints. Continuous Improvement workshops to identify opportunities to drive improvements in the process, improving overall value to the business.    

* Lead efforts to build capability of team members across the brands, ensuring team members have a strong base knowledge of innovation claim accountabilities.

* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
* 10+ years of experience in R&E.   
* Demonstrated strengths in these skills: claim development and execution, and presenting to senior leaders and external customers.   
* When presenting, demonstrate the ability to read a room, build on the messages of other presenters, and tell a compelling story.   
* Demonstrated ability to identify compelling ways to bring innovation to life. 
* Strong communication skills with leaders and team members.
* Ability to influence leaders and team members across all levels of the R&E, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory/Safety, and Sales organizations.
* Ability to provide work direction to team members not in a direct reporting relationship.
* Coach and mentor indirect team members on best practices. No Direct Reports
