The client is searching for a Sr Technical Project Manager to support one of their largest initiatives. In this role, the candidate will work with the product and Platform Services teams to manage Sprint content in an Agile development environment. The manager needs a driver who will manage project expectations, deadlines, tweak dependences, move the rock and "get things done" as well as be able to "speak the tech speak and build rapport with the back end developers."

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience in a Project Management role for at least 7+ years (at times they will follow more traditional Project Management lifecycle with Agile- back end software engineering API/service teams and engineering application focus that can be adaptive and changing- where scrum best practices are applied)
  • Previous experience as a developer with c++/c REQUIRED
  • Firmware experience
  • Backend development experience (with Java preferred)
  • Tool chain development experience
  • Scripting experience with Python, Shell
  • Jira/Wiki/Confluence experience
  • Release management
  • Code versioning, Git
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Skills in conflict resolution, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Sprints, Kanban, User Stories, Grooming, Retrospectives, etc.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is a must
