Sr Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Sr Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for calling patients and scheduling deliveries, following USP 797 and company policies for compounding and cleaning, packaging and pulling medications and supplies, and assisting with inventory tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive their medications accurately and on time.
Responsibilities- Call patients and schedule deliveries weekly.
- Follow USP 797 and company policies for compounding and cleaning daily.
- Package and pull medications and supplies.
- Assist with stocking shelves.
- Assist with monthly inventory tasks.
- Speak to patients, schedule deliveries, and refill prescriptions weekly.
- Pack and send patient deliveries via FedEx.
- Place orders and assist in inventory management.
- Stock medications and supplies as needed.
- Assist with labeling and organizing medications and supplies as needed.
- Lift up to 30 lbs. continuously as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the PIC.
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas.
- 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience in retail or other pharmacy.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- 1 year of Home Infusion experience with Sterile Compounding.
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Irving, Texas.
Work EnvironmentYou will be supporting the acute/chronic teams in a fast-paced, high volume pharmacy. Our members count on us to deliver important, sometimes lifesaving medications accurately and efficiently. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
Pay Rate: $20-23/hr
