The Dental Specialists is currently seeking a Patient Communication Specialist candidate who is professional, self-motivated and focused on high-quality, compassionate patient care, to join our team. The Dental Specialists is seeking the ideal team member to support our core values of Service, Excellence, Respect, Value, Integrity, Collaboration and Education to our patients.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Communication Specialist is responsible for supporting multiple practices with phone coverage and scheduling of appointments to provide service excellence to our patients.

Position Requirements:

Provide quality patient service through effective communication and personal attention, using appropriate communication strategies and taking the appropriate partners to resolve patient questions and issues
Receive inbound calls from current and potential patients
Respond to email requests from current and potential patients
Schedule patient appointments in the first available opening through the use of patient call lists

Required Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma
At least a year of dental experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Customer service experience
Ability to type 30 words per minute
Effective communicator and team player
Call center experience
Computer skills
Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:00 pm

Continuing Education:
The Dental Specialists offers a wide range of continuing education courses throughout the year for team members including required courses such as CPR, and OSHA Annual Retraining. Dental Assistants that attend all the courses offered throughout the year are able to fulfill their biannual requirements for 25 hours of continuing education.
