We are seeking to hire candidates for our Entry Level Engineering positions in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural and Power Engineering. These positions support SEPTA’s Mission by ensuring projects are designed and constructed in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications, contract plans, FRC and (FTA) Regulations.

Engineer III
The Engineer III position requires an extensive background in engineering. This position is responsible for undertaking engineering/quality assurance assignments that are considered to be of " moderate significant complexity" in size and scope. This position is further responsible to provide technical support and direction for engineering/quality assurance activities that are consistent with SEPTA mission values and goals.
Starting Salary: $84,864.00 - Mentors available for those seeking EIT registration/ Additional $5,000 salary increase for having a Pennsylvania PE License.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Architecture and three (3) years of relevant employment experience is required.
Engineer II
Utilizing knowledge gained from previous years of engineering experience, this position is responsible for undertaking engineering/quality assurance assignments that are considered to be of "moderate complexity" in size and scope. This position is further responsible to provide technical support and direction for engineering/quality assurance activities that are consistent with SEPTA mission values and goals.
Starting Salary: $76,024.00 - Mentors available for those seeking EIT registration
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Architecture and one (1) year of relevant employment experience is required.
Engineer I - Entry Level
This position is responsible for undertaking engineering/quality assurance assignments that are considered to be of "basic complexity" in size and scope. This position is further responsible to provide technical support and direction for engineering/quality assurance activities that are consistent with SEPTA mission values and goals.
Starting Salary: $69,628.00 - Mentors available for those seeking EIT registration
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Architecture (no employment experience required).
