ProtoPie is the easiest interactive prototyping tool for all digital products. Designers can turn their UI/UX design ideas into highly interactive prototypes for mobile, desktop, web, all the way to IoT and beyond. They can explore, validate, and test design solutions and ideas by creating very realistic, production-like prototypes without code and without the help of engineers.
ProtoPie is widely used by various companies all over the world across many industries, e.g., Google, Microsoft, Meta, Nintendo, BMW, Samsung, Tencent, Reddit, Bytedance, and Disney. Plus, ProtoPie won no.1 Advanced Prototyping tool in the UX Tools 2022 Design Tools Survey.
(About the role)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales, Americas, with a proven track record in B2B SaaS sales, to join our innovative startup.
In this leadership position, you will drive the acquisition of new business and the expansion of existing direct accounts across the Americas region. Ideal candidates will be based in the United States or Canada.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring strong sales expertise, people management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup. Familiarity with our product is essential, along with a willingness to learn quickly and help your team navigate and leverage the product.
(Responsibilities)
- Current Accounts:
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients to identify and close expansion/ upselling opportunities.
- New Accounts:
- Lead expansion initiatives within the current industry.
- Identify and capitalize on new revenue streams in untapped/ new markets.
- Drive both horizontal and vertical growth within industries and across companies.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Develop team members through coaching, performance feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Encourage problem-solving and resourcefulness, ensuring your team adapts quickly and effectively to changing circumstances.
- Navigating A Fast-Paced Startup:
- Be comfortable with and able to thrive in a startup environment where strategies and priorities may evolve rapidly.
- Use creativity and resourcefulness to solve problems and adapt sales strategies as needed.
- Ensure your team remains agile and aligned with company goals.
(Qualifications)
Must
- 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or account management, with a proven track record of leadership and success in a startup or fast-growth environment.
- Strong people management experience, focusing on coaching, developing, and leading teams through growth and change.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and navigate challenges with minimal oversight.
- Exceptional time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Open to international travel with no restrictions.
- Fluent in English, as it is the primary language used.
Plus
- Familiarity with the digital product design process.
- Experience with design tools like Figma, Unity, or other UI/UX tools.
- Experience in the automotive or hardware (H/W) industry is a plus.
