The Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors in our Global Books team in Seattle, Washington.
We are the Global Books team at Amazon. Our mission is to inspire readers by making it easy to read more and get more out of reading. You will be working with leaders across the global Books organization.
This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, coordinating domestic and international travel, and providing light assistance and partnership with some project and goal management. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.
Key job responsibilities
- Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated ability to design and improve processes
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time

- Impeccable attention to detail
- Demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm and drive to create opportunities for team building events
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Partnering with EAs across the global org to streamline and discover efficiencies
- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Experience handling administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed
- Experience working with large global teams
