Overview


Summit Law is a dynamic boutique business law firm located in Charlotte, North Carolina, led by two exceptionally intelligent, kind, and busy female business lawyers. The firm prides itself on delivering exceptional client service and is focused on growth for the right reasons with the right people. They are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to join their team This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility of working remotely or in a hybrid model, with a preference for at least two days in the office initially.


Key Responsibilities


  • Email Management: Efficiently review, answer, and file emails on behalf of the two owners with precision and timeliness. Ensure appropriate follow-up with owners and other stakeholders is conducted consistently.
  • Training and Development: Initially work under close supervision and micromanagement until the owners are confident in your ability to work independently.
  • Policy Implementation: Assist in developing and documenting the best new practices and policies to enhance firm operations and service delivery. Ensure all processes are thoroughly documented.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all team members to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across the firm.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Proven experience in a similar role such as a communication specialist, paralegal, or assistant is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional skills in writing, editing, and proofreading. Ability to handle constructive feedback with grace and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain extreme confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of work.
  • Persistent and consistent work ethic, self-motivated, and driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to conduct thorough research and analyze data effectively.
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
