Academic Advisor

As our Academic Advisor you will report to the Director of Program. First and foremost, the Academic Advisor will be a fierce advocate for College Track’s mission to equip students confronting systemic barriers to earn a bachelor’s degree in pursuit of a life of opportunity, choice, and power. The Academic Advisor will work closely with their peer Academic Advisor, in addition to other members of the site team. By delivering engaging content and facilitating dynamic workshops and hosting 1:1 advising appointments, the Academic Advisor will help ensure scholars matriculate into colleges that match their academic and personal goals.

As our College Counselor, you will help our 11th and 12th grade scholars with the college application process so that they can successfully matriculate to a four-year university. Day to day, you will manage a caseload of students, meet with them and their parents to understand college applications and financial aid, and plan and lead college access clinics. To thrive in this job, you must have experience advising students around college applications, financial aid and scholarships.

Community and Scholar Persistence Manager

As our Community and Scholar Persistence Manager, you will help deliver programming that builds scholars’ social-emotional strengths and connects students and caregivers to community resources (e.g. mental health care, food access, housing, legal aid, etc.) so that our scholars are equipped to enter college to achieve their larger life goals. Day to day, you will cultivate strong community partnerships, support scholar success by monitoring program engagement and provide appropriate resources to families and caregivers. To thrive in this job, you must have 5 years of relevant work experience with underserved youth (ages 14-22).

Director, Public Funding

As our Director, Public Funding, you will build relationships with public funders (primarily local and state governments) aligned with College Track sites to increase awareness within those institutions and build support for College Track’s mission to equip students confronting systemic barriers to earn a bachelor’s degree in pursuit of a life of opportunity, choice, purpose, and power. The candidate will also be a strategic internal partner to Program, Finance, and leadership teams to ensure cross-department communication, and compliance and stewardship of public funds within the organization.

Leadership Coach

As our Leadership Coach, you will facilitate workshops so our scholars are supported and empowered to tackle high school life and apply for college. Day to day, you will prepare for workshops, facilitate programming for scholars, and track and analyze student data. To thrive in this job, you must have experience working with high school students from underserved communities.

As our Part-Time Van Driver, you will safely transport and supervise high school scholars so they can participate in programming on and off-site. Day to day, you will: Pick scholars up at the end of their school day and transport them to the College Track site; Pick scholars up at the end of College Track programming and transport them to their respective partner school or local bus stop; Text each scholar a reminder before picking them up for scheduled transportation; Run time-sensitive errands while students are not being transported.
