Machine Shop Manager

The Job

We are looking for an exceptional individuals to join our managing team, who has a high desire and drive to succeed both personally and professionally, in a fast-paced and growing company.

Responsibilities:

  • A least 3-5 years of experience managing a machine shop with 10+ employees.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills to motivate and effectively lead production.
  • Extensive experience with CNC equipment, programming, tooling fixturing, speeds & feeds, operating sequences is preferred but not mandatory if equal experience with operations/shop management
  • Hands-on management style, able to interact with other department heads in Engineering, Production Planning, and Operations.
  • Meet production quota deadlines assigned by the production planner.
  • Proficient in utilizing precision instruments to frequently conduct QA inspections on finished parts.
  • LEAN/5S experience a plus.

  • Good time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • A strong personality and ability to effectively manage stress.
  • Excellent interpersonal and people skills.
  • High level of initiative and drive.
