Neuromodulation
Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders.
The Opportunity
Our team is actively recruiting for a Clinical Specialist I . As a member of the clinical support team, you will provide technical clinical expertise and support of the sales process to colleagues, current customers, and potential customers. You will work under general direction with clinical and sales teammates to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
What You’ll Work On
- Provides technical, clinical, and programming assistance, primarily in support of 1-2 Territory Manager(s).
- Assist Territory Managers in after-hours call support and activities.
- Integrates into all accounts, builds trust and relationships, and establishes strong rapport with customers.
- Proficient in complex programming and case support.
- Works seamlessly with Territory Manager(s) allowing them increased selling time.
- Fosters high trust relationships with customers.
- Conducts educational in-services as directed.
- Contacts, visits, and engages clients and potential clients regarding the Company’s products.
- Provides medical professionals with sales support, information, and training.
- Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts and customers.
- Conducts evaluations and develops sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities.
- Collects and studies information about new and existing products.
- Provides feedback on the directions for use specific to implantable devices.
- May attend trade shows and conferences.
- Uses clinical expertise to identify customer training needs.
- Complies with FDA regulations and Company policies.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications with all levels of employees and customers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to travel 25% within assigned region.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or technical certification; preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1 - 2 years’ work experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate clinical data.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with customers.
- Capable of managing unpredictable schedules.
- Strong sense of urgency and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare environment (e.g., Physical Therapy, medical product sales).
- 1-3 years’ experience with Abbott or similar medical device companies.
