About the Role

The Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai is a renowned leader in heart disease and research innovation. As a Clinical Research Associate I/CPT, you will play a vital role in supporting the coordination and implementation of noncomplex research studies under the direction of a Clinical Research Coordinator or other supervising staff.

Responsibilities
  • Collects, evaluates, and abstracts clinical research data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assists in designing forms for data collection and abstraction, adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Enters and processes clinical research data into Electronic Data Systems (EDCs), provided by sponsors.
  • Completes Case Report Forms (CRFs) accurately and efficiently.
  • Prescreens potential research participants and schedules them for research visits and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Science, Sociology, or related field preferred.
  • Phlebotomy Certification required.
  • 1 year clinical research experience preferred.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
