BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field AND 5+ years of experience with control systems design in a food, beverage or industrial manufacturing environment, including drawing development, execution/audit, specifications, RFP/RFIs, construction execution, and validation of installation to 2D/3D models OR Associates Degree in Engineering or related field AND 7+ years of experience with control systems design in a food, beverage or industrial manufacturing environment, including drawing development, execution/audit, specifications, RFP/RFIs, construction execution, and validation of installation to 2D/3D models.

Experience with large, multi-million dollar capex projects.
  • Work Autonomously
  • Strong Communication/Writing Capabilities
  • Competency in PLC (Rockwell Automation, Modicon) and PC-Based -HMI/SCADA (iFIX and Ignition) design, programming, and implementation
  • Competency in Safety Instrumented System design, programming, and validation
  • Competency in PC operating systems and Industrial Networking
  • Competency in use Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional team of engineers, operations, and maintenance team members
  • Ability to read and interpret control schematics, wiring diagrams, power distribution single line diagrams
  • Working knowledge of Electrical Safety and Hazardous Energy Control Procedures (HECP)
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electric Code), electrical installation and wiring practices
  • Familiarity with power distribution
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat
  • Competency in Siemens PLC design, programming, and implementation
