STS Aviation Services is hiring a Tool Calibration & Repair Specialist to support our aviation tooling and production teams in Melbourne, Florida. If you have experience in aircraft stores, material control, or shipping, this opportunity offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where your skills in tool calibration, repair, and inventory management will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform tool calibration and repairs in compliance with FAA 145 and AS9110 standards.
- Manage the calibration schedule for precision inspection and test equipment.
- Track and maintain tooling data within the ERP system, ensuring traceability to NIST or OEM standards.
- Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- 1+ years in aircraft stores, material control, or shipping.
- Understanding of aviation tooling, repair, and calibration processes.
- Ability to use hand tools, equipment, and operate forklifts.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Business Intelligence systems.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and safety protocols.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work from ladders or elevated platforms.
- Comfortable with extended periods of standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
- Correctable vision and hearing for tool operations.
