The clinical Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and ensuring the efficient operations of the administrative and clinical practices. This position involves a blend of administrative, managerial, clinical and healthcare expertise to maintain a high standard of patient care, regulatory compliance and operational efficiencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manages and oversees the administrative/clinical operations to include staff supervision, workflow management, staff performance, faculty support, revenue denials and budget management.
  • Manages and oversees the clinical productivity of staff, faculty with supporting Division Administrator.
  • Responsible for implementing support processes, identifying required resources, workflows and escalation processes.
  • Manages efficiency and productivity by developing, implementing and coordinating policies and procedures of the department.
  • Partners with practice managers for each divisional site; creates a cohesive team approach by working and collaborating to achieve departmental, SOM and FPI goals and expectations.
  • Travels to practice sites to engage with managers, faculty and engages in clinical processes for improvements.
  • Partners with department leadership to establish goals, expectations and implementations.
  • Manages projects to include implementation, assessment and ongoing collaboration.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical management; ambulatory practice experience is required
