The Senior Coordinator role is specialized senior level position in the unit. The Senior Coordinator is trained to handle escalations from Coordinators and serve all students, undergraduate and graduate, with academic records, financial aid, enrollment, billing and payments, and registration and record related questions through the student life-cycle lens. Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Counseling: Provide holistic counseling on course enrollment, financial aid, billing, and academic success, with a focus on student retention and progress. Deliver specialized counseling to students with complex financial aid or administrative needs, ensuring accuracy in advice and content.
  • Communication Partner with SEM Communication team: Update website content to ensure accuracy and relevance. Work with the MyUT team to enhance student communication platforms. Draft communications for students and internal campus partners, focusing on clarity and engagement.
  • Salesforce Support: Work with senior project manager and Salesforce team to make recommendations to improve communications through system. Provide guidance and expertise to staff and Salesforce stakeholders using the tool. Implement new tool improvements as approved for Salesforce.
  • Quality Assurance and Training:Review and analyze student inquiries to ensure high-quality responses and proactively correct misinformation. Train staff on the latest university milestones, topics ,and best practices, ensuring the team remains up-to-date on policies, procedures, and processes. Update website content with specialized processes for students.
  • Other Duties as Assigned Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or administrative roles, or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience.
    • Demonstrated experience as a Coordinator (or equivalent) within a university setting.
    • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and public speaking ability.
    • Ability to mentor and lead a diverse team of staff and students.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle complex, escalated cases independently, using professional judgment and discretion.Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Preferred Qualifications
      • Experience with process improvement and communications in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.Salary Range$48,000 + depending on qualificationsWorking Conditions
