The goal of this role is to facilitate communication within the Maintenance and Engineering Department by accurately translating technical information between TOYO Japan and TNA. This position is crucial in gathering, documenting, and conveying technical data to support the department's operations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Prepares and issues the daily maintenance work order summary report.
  • Prepares and issues the daily robot report, curing report, and storeroom inventory consumption report.
  • Prepares and maintains records of machine breakdowns, repairs, and parts usage.
  • Prepares and issues monthly the PM compliance as well as machine availability data to all concerns.
  • Assists in the creation of spare parts inventory requirements for equipment.
  • Acts as TNA Administrator for the Computerized Maint. Management System (CMMS).
  • Develops and issues the monthly Maintenance & Engineering KA presentation, which includes year over year parts usage by department, top monthly usage parts by Department, expense spending cost analysis, spare parts unit pricing trend analysis, Utility area key unit cost & trend metrics, as well as other critical Maintenance and Engineering data.
  • Analyze and record technical data related to maintenance and engineering issues. 
  • Summarizes in graph format, weekly/monthly downtime and repair data and provide reports to management.
  • Compile, translate, establish, issue and maintain maintenance & engineering documents for TNA from Toyo Japan.
  • Establish and maintain technical library of machine specifications, standards, blueprints, procedures and documents.
  • Translates and records maintenance & engineering information from Japanese to English and English to Japanese (applicable to bilingual Admin. Assistant only).

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
