The Title Processor prepares of all documents associated with the processing and closing of escrow, conveyance of title, recording of documents, clearing of title requirements and issuance of title insurance.

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Research and verify the accuracy of documentation such as property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, leases, surveys, contracts, and agreements needed to produce a clear title policy.
  • Enter and submit title and loan documents into software programs to track applicant’s progress.
  • Liaise with escrow or title to be sure all items are complete and with the post-closing agent to ensure the transaction is recorded and any outstanding issues are resolved
  • Work with title examiner and underwriter to prepare title insurance policy and binders and title commitments
  • Aid title officers with administrative assistant essential duties, including clerical and data entry support

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, some college preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience with real estate transactions, title processing, title company pre-processor, or as a mortgage loan processor is desired
  • Superb research, communications, customer service, and analysis skills are desired
  • Computer proficient with numerous programs including MS Office is needed

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an hourly rate of $21.71 - $26, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
